On Saturday, September 25, 1920, William wrote in his journal, "I was surprised to see a fellow taking movies of us. Caraway said it was Dr. Jones and I said it was not. I was under the impression that Jones was an older man. We later learned it was Willie Alder from the Academy of Science of Los Angeles."

I find the entry intriguing. Willie Alder and Edward D. Jones worked for the Los Angles Academy of Sciences. It is fascinating to think there are actually movies of William's hunting party stored away in box somewhere even after 100 years.
